PICKLED RED ONIONS BasicMakes about 2 cups
In medium stainless or glass container combine the vinegar, cold water, salt and sugar. Put the onion slices in a colander and pour the boiling water over them. Rinse under cool water and drain. Add to the vinegar brine and cover w/plastic wrap. Refrigerate until chilled. Will keep in refrigerator for about 1 week. |
