GARLIC SPREAD FOR GARLIC BREAD                       C.B. Original 

1/4 # butter (or a substitute if concerned about heart attacks)

5 big cloves garlic.....minced (4 if unadventurous or public minded)

2 tbsp. grated fresh Parmesan cheese (do not substitute canned stuff)

2 dash tabasco (or similar hot sauce)

 

Soften butter, mix all ingredients, whip with a whisk,

 enough for 1 1# loaf of sourdough or regular French bread.

 Wrap in foil and bake the sucker for about 30 minutes at 325 degrees.

 

PESTO BREAD

Substitute 2 tablespoon pesto (2 big pesto patties) for the Parmesan cheese and only use

 6 tablespoon butter or fake stuff
