SOUTH
CAROLINA MUSTARD SAUCE
Basic southern
3/4 cup prepared mustard 3/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 ½ TBSP. Butter 2 TSP. Salt 1 1/4 TSP. Fresh ground
black pepper ½ TSP. Tabasco sauce ½ TBSP. Worcestershire
sauce 1/4 cup granulated sugar In a medium sauce pan,
combine all ingredients, mix well & simmer for 10 -15 minutes over low heat.
Let stand at room temperature one hour. Boil
any sauce used to marinate raw meat before brushing or pouring over cooked meat. |
