MISO MARINADE                                                                Hawaiian Traditional


cup white miso
1/3 cup mirin
1 TBSP minced ginger

 Enough for about 2# of chicken or fish




1 cups white miso

1 cup shoyu

1 cups brown sugar

1 cup dry vermouth (substitute dry sherry or bourbon)

1 TBSP grated fresh ginger


mix all ingredients until well blended.  Enough for 5 # of chicken, pork or fish.  Marinate chicken or pork up to 12 hours, brush on fish 2 4 hours before grilling.
