APPLE BARBEQUE SAUCE                                   Ethel Williams


         cup apple jelly
1          8 oz can, no salt added tomato sauce
1/4       cup white vinegar
2            tablespoons light brown sugar
2            tablespoons water
1            teaspoon hot sauce (or more to taste)
1/4            teaspoon salt

Bring all ingredients to a boil, lower temperature and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 20 - 25 minutes.  Makes about 1 1/3 cups of sauce.

This makes a good marinade for flank steak.  Marinate it in a big zip lick for about 8 hours.  Different.
