CHIMICHURRI SAUCE / MARINADE W/ LIME                 Basic

 

1 jalapeno chili, stem removed, coarsely chopped
1 peeled & coarsely chopped garlic clove
2 TBSP chopped cilantro
2 TBSP chopped Italian parsley
1 TBSP chopped fresh oregano
1 TSP chili powder
¼ cup olive oil
3 TBSP lime juice
1 TSP salt

Put in blender and blend till thick and sort of smooth.  Probably keeps about 2 days in refer….but why wait.  Eat it all!

Marinate beef, chicken or pork with this marinade and then brush a little on after cooking meat.
