AUNTIE PAM’S CUSTARD MOCHI                         Pam Jaasko

 

1 stick butter (1/2 cup)

1 3/4 cups sugar

4 eggs

4 cups milk

2 cups mockiko (rice) flour

3 TSP. Baking powder

2 TSP. Vanilla

Cream butter and sugar.  Beat in one egg at a time.  Add baking powder to mochiko.  Add vanilla to milk.  Alternate adding milk mixture and mochiko mixture to the butter and egg mixture. 

Pour into 9 X 13 inch greased pan.  Bake one hour and a bit more (5 - 8 minutes) until golden.  Cool, cut, and put in fridge after tasting.
