FLORENCE'S BROWNIES                     Faucette family

Cream:  1 stick butter

        1 c sugar

 

Add: 2 sq. melted and cooled chocolate

     2 beaten eggs

     1 tsp. vanilla

     ½ c nuts

     1/4 tsp. salt

     1/3 c flour

Mix well, bake about 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

For history’s sake Florence is Florence Bohr - who lived up the alley behind our house in Tennessee and until my tenth birthday or so, Robin Bohr was my bestest friend in the world.  Many tales to tell but my momma and Florence intended to sit on the front porch of an old ladies home together and rock and be eccentric together in their old age . . . too bad things didn’t work out that way.
