FRUIT COBBLER (GRUNT!)                     Faucette family 

½ stick of butter, melted in bottom of baking dish

2 ½ c sweetened fruit (fresh or 1 lb. Can)

1 c milk

2/3 c sugar

1 c flour

2 ½ tsp. baking powder

½ Tsp. salt

Mix milk, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, pour in pan letting butter run up  sides. (do not mix in pan)

Pour fruit in middle of batter (do not stir)

Bake in 375 degree oven for 30‑40 minutes until top of batter is golden  brown and fruit is mostly baked over.
