MY MOMMA'S OATMEAL COOKIES                 Faucette recipe

(1 1/2)   3 sticks butter
(1)       2 c brown sugar
(1)       2 eggs
(1/2)     1 c granulated sugar
(1/4)     ½ c water
(1)       1 tsp. vanilla
(1)       2 c sifted flour
(1)       2 tsp. salt
(1/2)     1 tsp. soda
(3)       6 c Quaker’s quick oats (not instant), uncooked
(3/4)     1 ½ c big raisins

Place oleo, sugar, eggs, water, and vanilla in bowl.  Mix.  Sift flour salt and soda, add to mix.  Blend in oats, add raisins.  Drop by tsp. on greased cookie sheet.  Bake in 350 degree oven for 12‑15 minutes.
