PECAN PIE IMPERIAL                     Faucette
1 un baked 10" pie shell
3 eggs
1 c firmly packed light brown sugar
1 c dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
½ tsp. salt
2 c whole pecan halves
2 tbs. melted butter

In large mixing bowl beat eggs, sugar and melted butter

Blend in corn syrup, vanilla and salt

Fill pie shell with nuts and pour custard over nuts. Bake in  preheated 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until set. Serves 8. 

Mix milk, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, pour in pan letting butter run up  sides. (do not mix in pan)

Pour fruit (it has to mean the nuts as there is no fruit listed in the ingredients above!) in middle of batter (do not stir)

Bake in 375 degree oven for 30‑40 minutes until top of batter is golden  brown and fruit is mostly baked over.
