THAI STICKY RICE                                          Basic


¾ cup Thai “sweet rice” or “glutinous” rice per person  

Rinse rice two or three times.  Soak rice, covered by 2”, in water for at least 6 hours.  

Line bamboo steaming basket with wet paper towels.  Steam rice for 40 – 45 minutes, until tender.  Fluff rice with a fork every 10 minutes as it is cooking.
