LOOED SPARERIBS                  Chinese basic

 

1/3 slab ribs per person 

Enough Looing sauce to cover all the ribs LOOING SAUCE

Sesame oil & chopped green onion to garnish 

In a large non-reactive pot, bring looing sauce to a boil, add ribs and bring back to a boil.  Cover and simmer 30 - 40 minutes.  Take ribs out of sauce, strain sauce, cool and return it to refrigerator. 

Take ribs and place under pre-heated broiler for just a few minutes until meat is crisped a little but does not get too brown.  You may also put on a gas or charcoal grill to heat and crisp up.  Dress ribs with a few drops of sesame oil and chopped green onions.
